New Orleans cuisine is famous around the world, and its desserts are no exception!
Take a walk through the heart of the French Quarter and sample our most decadent delights, including Pralines, Snowballs, Bread Pudding -- a savory muffuletta -- and more! You'll learn the unique history of each dish and how its prepared, as we sample examples from restaurants well known for them.
Learn how New Orleans cuisine was born from the unique creativity of its culture of food-sellers with baskets or pushcarts, with the enslaved using small businesses like these to buy their freedom.
We'll see the French Market, lined with New Orleans food stalls and stands you can explore on your own.
Don't just eat here, take home a piece of New Orleans you won't forget!
