This tour provides an in depth look at some of the most unnerving crimes in New Orleans history. The bars visited include local watering holes frequented by some of New Orleans’ most notorious murderers and serial killers, all while a licensed tour guide provides detailed accounts of the terrifying actions of real French Quarter residents.
This tour is perfect for true crime enthusiasts of all backgrounds. We will provide a thorough examination of the life and crimes of the most infamous criminals in New Orleans history, both past and present.
Highlights include a discussion of several French Quarter residents alleged involvement in JFK's assasination, the Ax Man’s legendary reign of terror, the murder suicide of Zack & Addy, the Upstairs Lounge Arson, as well as the infamous “Bourbon Street Bloodbath” involving an unsuspecting convention-goer in 2012.
The tour will stop at a wide range of French Quarter bars with shockingly sordid history. Guests will have the opportunity to grab a drink at the bar where Zack tended bar pre-Katrina, an iconic brothel from the Storyville era, as well the site of the largest hate crime against the LGBTQ+ community in the 20th century.
First Cocktail included. Guests will have ample opportunities to purchase additional drinks on their own during bar stops. The tour guide will also touch on the rich cocktail history of the French Quarter.
