About this Experience
Adventures of Jean Lafitte is located just 35-45 minutes south of New Orleans in the Cajun fishing town of Lafitte. The swamp land is private and located next to Jean Lafitte National Park. Hear stories about the pirate history of the area and the fight to protect the wetlands of South Louisiana. A crowd-favorite are the alligators who inhabit the swamp, and you may also see bald eagles, blue herrons, alligator snapping turtles, hawks, raccoons, wild hogs, and deer.
