My hubby and I, along with our two kids, went on this swamp tour and absolutely loved it. The driver, I forgot his name, was hilarious and pointed out attractions and provided information for the passengers. Our swamp tour guide, Brandon, was also similarly funny and very informative. He also passed around two snakes and a baby alligator for us to hold and pet, which my kids (and hubby) loved. The only complaint we had was the drive back with Debbie. We accidentally left behind our son's sippy cup in the car. We realized it just as she drove away and called the company. When we spoke with Debbie we told her that we didn't have any other sippy cups and really needed it back since my one year old son hadn't mastered drinking out of regular cups yet. Her reaction was basically, I don't really work the next couple of days, but when I do, I'll see what I can do. We went to the swamp tour our first day in New Orleans and stayed there for another 5 days and we never received the sippy cup back. We instead overnighted one from Amazon. But for Debbie, this would've been a 5 star glowing review. Either way, I would still highly recommend this tour.

Our driver was very friendly and told us a lot of great info on the sites we passed on the way to the swamp. Our captain on the boat was great. Very knowledgeable about everything and told us lots of great stories and facts about living in LA and the bayou. The gators were very cool, came right up to the boat. The raccoons were also cool when they came out to be fed. Saw some cool birds as well. Getting to hold the baby gator at the end was fun, great picture. I'd recommend this tour to anyone and would go again if we go back.

We were picked up at our hotel. Learned so much. Tour guide was Jason, and he had a great way of working humor into historical facts. Bus was very nice, wish we had slowed down for more pictures however. Seemed just a little rushed. However, it is a great first thing to do so that you can go back to whatever needed more time.
