Our swamp tour guide was great! Really informative & he knew lots about the area, it's history & all the animals. There was a downpour of rain halfway through the tour, which could have been a downer, but because our guide was so engaging, the rain didn't really matter. He even got drenched going out on the side ramps to feed the alligators for us & made sure we all got the photos we wanted. I also loved Deborah, our driver from our hotel to the swamp, & our other driver. I thought the drivers would literally just drive us to the next stop but they gave a bit of commentary about the area too, which was nice. The driver (sorry, not sure of his name) who took us to Laura plantation even drove us to Oak Alley & stopped so we took take photos, so it felt like we were getting 2 for 1!

Pick up from our hotel was convenient. Tour driver was very friendly and informative. Being a native of Louisiana gave him excellent insight into the history of New Orleans and the surrounding areas. Our first stop was the swamp tour. Our tour boat captain was very knowledgeable about everything in the swamp and very "tell it like it is" which was very refreshing. Nothing sugar coated. Lots of alligators and other wildlife (raccoons, turtles, etc.). Second stop was the Houmas Plantation. Beautiful plantation and the tour guide was entertaining. Last stop was Laura Plantation. Our tour guide, Renee, was very good and gave us a lot of insight into the history of the Plantation as well as Creole history. Overall, a very good tour.

We went on the swamp and plantation tour. Awesome guide on the bus. Plantation tour guide was very informative. Swamp tour was amazing. Our guide on the boat was unforgettable. He brought out a 5 year old gator named Allie and we all got to hold her. He was very proud of where he came from and cared a great deal about all the wildlife in the swamp. This is a must do tour!!

We loved our tour of the swamp and Oak Alley plantation. This was a great decision for us to package this two attractions together. It saved us time, and we did not have to worry about anything. The bus transporting us to each tour was comfortable and clean. As well, the drivers provided the passengers with an informative tour of each area we passed through. The swamp tour was very well done. We saw so many alligators, and different wildlife. You will not be disappointed. Our captain Brandon?? Did a fantastic job explaining everything, and making the tour exciting for the kids. Oak Alley did not disappoint. So beautiful with a rich history.
