About this Experience

The Creole Kids Tour takes kids back to the "Golden Era" of New Orleans, the 1830s.

Duration

1.5 Hours

About

We'll find out what life was like for kids back then: free vs. enslaved, American vs. Creole, boys vs. girls. The good, the bad, the weird and the gross. We've got it all! (And, of course, maps, primary sources and props.) Kids come along on an unforgettable 19th century adventure!

When possible, this tour also includes a visit inside the beautiful Hermann-Grima House courtyard and slave quarters.
