Due to our swamp's location and proximity to the plantations, our combination tours offer you less travel time than most other tour companies. For example, our Oak Alley Plantation and Swamp Tours Combo requires only 78 miles right from downtown New Orleans.
Cajun Pride Tours coordinates combination tours which include swamp and Oak Alley Plantation.

History, architecture, beauty and adventure can be found at each of the plantations that we visit along the legendary River Road. Oak Alley Plantation for a tour packed with beauty and adventure. This tour comes a tour of the legendary Manchac Swamp.
Oak Alley Plantation
Built in 1837-39. It is famous for its’ alley of 28 evenly spaced Live Oak trees, believed to be at least 100 years older than the big house.

For many years people have traveled extensively to locate a unique and exciting adventure exploring Louisiana's back country with its meandering bayous and swamps that you can only experience here - the historical Manchac Swamp. We invite you to join us for an educational journey back to the early days of Louisiana bayou and swamp explorations.
Swamp creatures, seeing our boats daily, recognize them as part of their normal environment. Unafraid and responsive to their boat captain's call, they peak out from underbrush and between moss-draped trees and shrubs, frequently coming directly to the boat. In the safety and comfort of the boat, you can actually come within a few feet of jumping alligators.
As your boat drifts through the waterways, you will learn about the Louisiana Wetlands, the inhabitants of the swamp, particularly the life and habits of the American Alligator, as well as the unique history of the Cajun town of Frenier within the Manchac Swamp.
Pickup available from most New Orleans, Metairie and Kenner hotels. Transportation pickup begins 1 ½ hours prior to scheduled tour time
Due to the length of this tour, we recommend our guests bring a snack or grab a snack at the swamp prior to departing for the plantation.
